Well, very crispy onion rings. One of our favorite "onion" snacks!
These are the crunchiest onion rings I've tasted (and cooked)! The whole secret in batter! He's not quite ordinary. I HIGHLY recommend giving it a try!
How I prepare these rings, I showed in the video below (for those who like to watch my videos). There are also 5 more reasons why I dry a lot of onions. And the recipe for deep-fried onions (also a blank). Look - you will definitely like it))
How to cook
In a bowl I mix flour, starch (I have potato, but you can use any) and dry mashed potatoes. The one sold in the quick lunch section (which needs to be brewed with boiling water).
I gradually add light beer to the dry ingredients. I mix thoroughly with a whisk so that the dough turns out without lumps. I let the dough stand for 5 minutes.
I cut the onion into rings about a centimeter thick and dry it on a paper towel.
I dip the onion rings into the dough first.
And then into homemade bread crumbs. We need flakes! How I cook them, look HERE.
I fry the onion rings in heated oil (140-150 degrees) until a beautiful golden brown color and spread on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
I salt the finished rings - and you can crunch))
