I make various pastries from brine. I have already shown how I make cakes in brine. If you missed it, see the link at the end of the article.
And today I have dessert! Delicious bagels for tea. Many people doubt that it tastes good, but it's worth a try! It's really delicious!
How to cook:
I filter the brine. Moreover, I use both brine and marinade. It turns out even tastier with marinade.
I pour the brine into a bowl. I add sugar and butter and mix.
When the sugar dissolves, gradually add the flour and baking powder. And I knead soft dough.
I leave the dough on the table for 20 minutes. Then I divide it into two parts. From each part, I roll out a circle, about 5 mm thick and cut into 8 parts. Like this:
I spread the filling on each piece and wrap it. You can take any filling. Nuts, poppy seeds, any thick jam, marmalade or pieces of fruit. Now I put one side in sugar and put it on a baking sheet.
I put it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Take a look in your oven!
RECIPE:
• Brine (or marinade) - 200 ml
• Flour - 400 g (approximately)
• Vegetable oil (odorless) - 80 ml
• Sugar - 50 g
• Baking powder - 10 g
