Until the summer is over, I will share a recipe for a very tasty drink. My children like it more than fruit compotes.
Delicious bright drink. Unusual taste. Or rather, unusual. But, having tried once, we are now constantly cooking.
Here in this video I showed how I prepare such a drink. In general, a video on how not to throw away products that can still be applied somewhere. Look - you will like it))
How to cook
I need purple basil here. Can be used with twigs!
I wash the basil well and put it in a suitable container in which we will prepare the drink.
Pre-squeeze the juice from the lemon and remove all the seeds.
Pour boiling water over the basil leaves. The color will first turn blue, then deep purple. And the leaves will change color to green.
We usually prepare such a drink with our youngest son. He really enjoys watching the color change.
Now comes the fun part. I add sugar and lemon juice. The drink changes color again. And it will become a beautiful crimson color. The whole process is clearly visible in the video))
I leave the drink on the table until it cools completely. And that's it! You can drink!

RECIPE:
• Water - 1.5 l
• Basil (purple) - 50 g
• Lemon - 1 pc.
• Sugar - 100 g (adjust to your liking!)
