I would like to share another recipe for borscht. Even if it is "wrong", but very tasty! I would be grateful for any of your comments! Only here "this is not borsch" do not write, please. The water is already boiling. I add the chopped potatoes and cook until almost cooked.
Of course, borscht can be cooked in meat broth, but today I have borscht with meatballs. Minced meat (I have beef with chicken) salt and form such balls from it:
When the potatoes are almost ready, I dip the meatballs into the pan. I cook for another 10 minutes. Salt, add beans (pre-boil). I have beans from the freezer today. I have previously shared how I make such preparations, HERE
Here I immediately send fresh finely chopped onions and peppers (a little, for flavor) and dressing for borscht. Today I use the gas station I prepared for the winter (a little left). At the end of the article, I will leave a link to the gas station. It contains tomatoes, onions, carrots, beets, peppers. You can, of course, cook the dressing in a pan (fry vegetables and add tomato juice). But this saves time, and the taste (believe me!) Is no worse.
Now the cabbage. I mix everything and cook for a few minutes.
At the very end, I add bay leaves and chopped fresh herbs (I have green onions and dill).
You can add garlic if you like. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Let it brew for at least 20 minutes. And you can serve!
• Water - 1.5 l •
Potatoes - 3-4 pcs.

• Boiled beans - 1 glass
• Onions - 1/4 pcs.
• Sweet pepper - 1/4 pcs.
• Dressing for borscht (tomatoes, peppers, beets, onions, carrots, salt, sugar, citric acid) - 250 ml

• Bay leaf
