New Year's salad "Yolochka" with pork and kiwi: showing the recipe step by step

There is nothing left until the New Year. We made it through and survived! So it's time to stock up on food for the New Year's table and plan the menu. What is the most important thing in a Russian feast? Of course they are salads!

And they always look more advantageous and appetizing when they are presented as something unusual. For example, in the form of a Christmas tree.

New Year

Ingredients:

0.5 kg pork
3-4 eggs
onion
vegetable oil
Korean carrot
hard cheese
kiwi
mayonnaise
cranberries or lingonberries for garnish
parsley

How to cook:

1. Cut the meat into cubes and fry in vegetable oil until a beautiful crust. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can use boiled pork or beef (chicken). And just cut them into strips. But fried meat tastes better.

2. Chop the onion in half rings and then two options: sauté it in vegetable oil or just scald it with boiling water for a couple of minutes.

3. Grate the cheese, peel the kiwi and cut into thin slices. Boil eggs, peel and also grate finely or chop.

4. On a large flat dish, lay out a layer of onion, then meat in an elongated triangle and cover everything with good mayonnaise.

5. Layer a layer of Korean carrots, then mayonnaise and a layer of grated eggs.

Cover again with mayonnaise mesh.

6. The last layer of salad is cheese. But you can lay out a layer of grated boiled potatoes or green apples first. And only then cheese. It turns out different salads and all delicious.

7. Now, carefully, overlap, lay out the circles or semicircles of the kiwi like fish scales. The denser the kiwi is, the more beautiful the salad will be and it will not fall apart on the table when serving.

Decorate the salad with cranberries or lingonberries. Refrigerate before serving.
