✅ 👌 You can make many simple and uncomplicated dishes from ordinary white cabbage. And if you also connect imagination ...
Today I want to offer you a recipe for making delicious cutlets from ordinary white cabbage with oatmeal.
This recipe has long been firmly established in our family, I cook it so often and everyone really likes it.
Ingredients for cooking cabbage patties in the oven:
White cabbage - 600 g
Water - 50 ml
Oatmeal - 4 tbsp l.
Milk - 150 ml
Butter - 30-50 g
Chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
Salt - 0.5 tsp l.
Black pepper - 1-2 pinches.
Let's start cooking ...
Cut the cabbage into small cubes or chop finely. Next, put a piece of butter in the pan, melt it, put chopped cabbage and pour in a little water. Simmer over medium heat, without a lid, stirring occasionally with a spatula, for 10 minutes.
The cabbage will become soft, translucent, in places covered with a light golden crust.
Pour in the simplest oatmeal (you can grind too large) and pour in milk, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes, while covering the pan with a lid, do not forget to stir from time to time.
After 10 minutes, remove the pan from the heat, cool the cabbage slightly. And break 3 chicken eggs, mix.
Lay out the resulting cabbage "mince" on the muffin tins. I have a silicone mold, so I don't even lubricate it with oil. But the mold is made of a different material or if the silicone molds are new, grease with a little vegetable oil. We fill the cells to the brim, such cutlets will not rise when baking, like muffins. And we send to bake in the oven.

Such cutlets are baked for about 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. We take out the finished cutlets from the molds, let cool slightly. Serve with sour cream and herbs as a side dish or as a snack. Very tasty, tender and simple. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
