✅ 👌 Herring goes well with all vegetables, so there are many different salads with this fish.
Today I want to offer you another very interesting recipe for a delicious salad with herring. My husband loves herring very much, so for every holiday I prepare at least one salad with herring. I tried many recipes for herring salads, but I liked this one the most. It turns out to be variegated, hearty, spicy - just what you need for a festive or everyday table.
And the main thing is that you don't need to cook anything!!! Try it: I'm sure you'll like it too.
Ingredients for making herring salad:
Lightly salted herring - 1 pc.
Korean carrots - 200 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Canned Green Peas - 150 g (small jar)
Green onions - small bunch
Dill greens - small bunch
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.
Apple cider vinegar (6%) - 2 tbsp l.
Salt, pepper - 1-2 pinches each (to taste)
Hot pepper - to taste and desire
Mustard beans - 1 tsp l.
Let's start cooking ...
First of all, of course, we will deal with the herring - it needs to be washed, then gut and remove the skin - in general, we cut it into fillets. If possible, remove all bones. Cut the prepared fillet into small portions and put in a bowl.
Now we prepare the vegetables - peel the onion and cut it into thin half rings.
We wash and dry the greens, chop finely.
We shift the onion and chopped herbs into a deep dish, add Korean carrots, vegetable oil, vinegar and mustard. Salt and pepper to taste, add hot pepper if desired.
Mix everything thoroughly.

Next, add the herring and a small jar of green peas to the vegetable slices (of course, without the marinade), mix. Salad ready! Cover the salad bowl with cling film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
The salad turns out to be bright, rich, moderately spicy and very aromatic. You can put on a festive table or cook just so that you can feed your family deliciously and satisfyingly. Cook, taste, Bon appetit!
