I don’t know about you, but they like to put small “portioned” snacks on our festive table. To take - that's all. For one, maximum two bites. Convenient, beautiful, not annoying: if you don't like it, you don't have to suffer over a large portion, plus this serving option makes it possible to cook as many different varieties as possible.
Snacks can be as simple as they can be, and still be delicious and delicious.
Stuffed eggs
This seems to be so familiar that it is tempting to ask: what is unusual about them? Almost nothing. Maybe wine (or rice) vinegar.
Cooking is simple: cut the eggs into halves (hard-boiled), grind the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, finely chopped dill, garlic (dried) and salt. And for piquancy, add a spoonful of vinegar - best of all rice.
A spoonful of vinegar - for five yolks, mayonnaise, mustard and everything else here to taste - as you like.
Then we put the resulting mixture into boats of proteins from a pastry bag. You can sprinkle it with smoked paprika on top - it will be a completely different taste.
Stuffed Baked Hot Peppers
Here we will have a little more complicated: we need hot peppers and a couple of types of cheese: soft (creamy, Philadelphia, for example) and hard. Ideally cheddar (if you can find it). And more gloves! Well, and bread crumbs.
Put on gloves, cut the peppers in half with a sharp knife - it is desirable that the tails also split in two - each half has a piece of the tail. Thoroughly clean out partitions and seeds. Most of the spice will go away.
Now fill the peppers with cheese - first creamy, then grated hard. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs on top (just a little, or you can immediately mix them with cheese) and send them to bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Crispy bacon and sausage snack
You need tiny cocktail sausages and bacon - fat or not, you decide. Hot chili sauce is also good, but I like it. And on top (just don't be alarmed) you need to sprinkle everything with brown sugar - in order to get a caramel crust.
Cooking is generally easier than ever: cut the bacon into thin slices, wrap the sausage in each slice, dripping hot sauce on it. Fasten everything with a wooden skewer, sprinkle with brown sugar on top - and, in the oven at 200-220 degrees until a crispy crust appears (the bacon should crunch).
Important: do not overload the baking sheet! Greed will ruin everything - you do not need to cook a lot, the melted fat, if there is a lot of it, will not let you bake normally.
Bon Appetit!
