Today I want to share a recipe for a beetroot and herring snack roll. This appetizer, bright in taste and color, will perfectly fit on the festive table. Preparing is simple.

Recipe:
For a roll:
Boiled beets -350g
Eggs -3 pcs
Vegetable oil -50 ml
Salt -1 / 2 tsp.
Flour -50 g
For filling:
S / s herring -1pc
Curd cheese -100g
Sour cream -2 tbsp.
Dill - to taste
Pickled cucumber-1pc
COOKING METHOD
Boil the beets until tender. Let it cool and grate 300 grams. Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Whisk the whites until firm peaks with a pinch of salt.
Add the yolks to the beets, add 50 ml of vegetable oil, half a tsp salt. black pepper,
50 grams of flour and mix. Now add the whipped egg whites gradually.
At 180 degrees 20 minutes.
While the cake is baking, prepare the herring. Take s / s herring and separate the fillet. Cut into strips.
Mix 100 grams of curd cheese with 2 tbsp. sour cream and mix. Cut the pickled cucumber into cubes, add to the curd cheese and add finely chopped herbs.
Stir the sauce ready.
We take out the cake, let it cool to a warm state. Lubricate with the resulting sauce, put the strips of herring.
We wrap the roll tightly, wrap it with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 1-3 hours, and it is better to put it away overnight. Those. can be done in advance even one day before the holiday.
We take out and cut into portions.
