I eat a little and do not lose weight - I hear this often. I eat a lot and have lost 63 kg. I am telling you how you can make mistakes when evaluating your diet.

I often say that when eating calorie-counting and calorie deficiency (in order to lose weight) I spend loading days a couple of times a month or combine them with the holidays.

Loading days are necessary so that our body does not get used to a constant calorie deficit, understands that it is not limited and does not rebuild, stopping to give up extra pounds.

Today I will show you an example of my festive download, and we will celebrate my husband's birthday.

In addition to giving an example of loading, I want to show how sometimes we are mistaken when evaluating our diet and thinking that we are eating little.

For breakfast I have sandwiches on Darnitsa bread (65 g), toasted in a toaster, and the most delicious liver pate (80 g) with pickled cucumbers. And green tea. Delicious and hearty breakfast turned out.

Breakfast came out on 370 kcal.

Taco breakfast - my usual breakfast for weight loss - 370 kcal fits perfectly into the diet of the day with a minimum deficit. Breakfast is often just over 40 kcal. So everything is great with breakfast.

In honor of my husband's birthday, we have a Prague cake today.

I realized that I would not be able to make a homemade traditional Ryzhik cake because of business and work trips. Yes, and for a long time they wanted a Prague that was 100% tasty, soaked, perfect.

Today I will allow myself a piece of cake. I would have missed my homemade Ginger. And I can't miss Prague.

I would have cut off a bigger piece of cake for myself. And now I see how many calories it contains and the stupor turns on.

Piece of cake in 100 g - 520 kcal.

By the way, about how much we eat without even thinking. A small piece of cake is already 500 kcal!

My menu today, I think, should show those who do not count calories and eat little (as they think) - how much they actually eat. Especially during the holidays.

For lunch, I fried pork neck steaks, marinated in spices: garlic, rosemary, pepper, a pinch of suneli hops, in a little coconut oil (I like it doesn't burn).

A large piece (200 g - raw weight) of pork steak and 130 g of stewed vegetable mixture and some fresh vegetables went to 780 kcal!

It would seem - a piece of meat and just vegetables. Well, what is there, right? And before, I often ate pork (fatty neck) - it is the juiciest (fatty) one. And it was strange to me from what I was recovering - after all, I eat meat and vegetables. But calorie counting put everything in its place and showed how much she really ate a lot before high-calorie food, which was stored in fat.

And I still today do not allow myself to relax in full. No drinks, no mayonnaise salads, no cheese or meat slices. If meat - then with vegetables, and not with mashed potatoes as many people like. I cut off the whole piece of pork, where there was only a hint of fat.

So let's see how much I end up hiring, considering that I will control myself.

Such a high-calorie lunch, and the cake definitely had to be shaken and we went for a walk! Today the sun made us happy, though in the first half of the day and not for long, but as we gathered for a walk the sun hid. But that didn't stop us!

We froze a little while walking, but we climbed through the snowdrifts in the forest - rather to warm up with hot tea at home, but without any sweets. And before that I would cut off a piece of cake for tea.

I wanted scrambled eggs for dinner. Just scrambled eggs and a slice of toasted bread.

Scrambled eggs from two eggs, lettuce with cherry (50 g) and 30 g of bread - 280 kcal.

Result of the day: K - 1950. B - 72, F - 132, U - 129.

1950 kcal! And I was still holding myself back.

And my calorie norm (without a deficit) according to my current parameters is 1740 kcal.
And if I eat as I do today (even if we exclude the cake, cookies and sweets will be connected, which imperceptibly increase in quantity without control) - I will get better and get upset - well, what I eat is special - a piece of meat with vegetables, scrambled eggs, and two sandwich.

I thought that on this day I will go over with carbohydrates. But I was wrong - look how much fat!

But most of my life I did not think about how many calories my food contains, and even more so I did not pay attention to BJU. It is a pity that I came so late to controlling nutrition by counting calories and balancing BJU. But what result did I manage to achieve thanks to such control!
