You do not need to bake the cakes. Everything is very simple and fast. That is why we call this cake "Napoleon for the Lazy" or "Lazy Napoleon".

Making a custard. Beat eggs with sugar. I use a regular whisk.

Then I add flour, vanillin and some milk from the total.

I bring the rest of the milk to a boil, pour the prepared mixture into it in a thin stream. And I bring it to a boil. The cream should thicken.

I take it off the heat and let it cool. But you don't even need to cool it, but immediately use the hot cream - this way the cake will soak faster.

RECIPE:

• Puff pastry - 800 g
• Milk - 1 l
• Eggs - 3 pcs.
• Sugar - 100 g
• Flour - 90 g
• Vanillin

Collecting the cake. I put some cream on the bottom of the plate, then a layer of puff pastry. I have Ears cookies. Then another layer of cream and more cookies. Etc.

Cover the cake with cream on top and sprinkle with sand crumbs. And leave for 3-5 hours to soak. But I usually let the cake soak for about a day - it turns out softer and tastier.

It is very important: the taste of the finished cake depends on the taste of the cookies!!! Therefore, the cookies should be tasty, and not old anyway. Bad cookie = bad cake!
