Not so long ago, I found information on the Instagram page of a nutritionist on how to prepare diet cutlets for people with gastrointestinal diseases and for those who want to lose weight. To prepare them, you do not need a double boiler, multicooker, or oven. They are not fried in oil or stewed.
I cooked, the "cutlets" turned out to be not only tasty, but also very juicy, despite the fact that only chicken breast was used for the mince.
So, I already had minced chicken frozen with the addition of vegetables. I "passed" the chicken breast through a meat grinder along with the courgette, onions, carrots and garlic. Everyone chooses the proportions for himself, I had 2/3 of the meat and 1.3 vegetables. I added salt, pepper and a little homemade ketchup to the finished minced meat.
Then I put the minced meat in silicone muffin tins.
Now you need to put the filled molds into the pan. I didn’t have a free saucepan of a suitable diameter, so I am using a skillet.
Next, pour hot water into the pan so that it reaches the middle of the molds and set over medium heat. Cover and leave for 35 minutes. After cooking, I do not open the lid for about 10-15 minutes, so that the meat absorbs back all the juices that came out during the cooking process.
So the cutlets are very juicy and tasty; in the oven, a completely different effect would be obtained. You should definitely try it.
