The other day I found an interesting recipe for making fish cakes and decided to try it. How delicious it turned out! The husband said that the classic version of fish cakes can be forgotten and cooked only in this way, it turned out very tasty and unusual.
So, cooking cutlets begins with frying onions. The onion should be chopped, not very finely, into medium-sized cubes and sauteed until tender, but not golden brown. Further, while the onion is cooling, you can do the rest of the preparations.
Any fish is suitable for these cutlets, I have cod today. It is important to chop the fish with a knife, and not with a meat grinder, so the cutlets will turn out to be very juicy.
I add fried onions to the fish, a handful of walnuts chopped into crumbs using a blender, one egg, 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt and salt, pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly and look at the density of the resulting mass.
The amount of bread crumbs that must be added to the mass itself depends on this. I added 3-4 rounded tablespoons, that was enough. The mass should keep its shape well.
There is little left to do - to form cutlets, roll them in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan until tender.
The cutlets turn out to be very juicy and tasty, I don't want to be limited to one thing at all! I recommend!

500 grams of fish fillet
1 egg
1 onion
80 grams of walnuts
2-3 tablespoons of yogurt
homemade crackers 3-4 tablespoons
