I found a very cool recipe for tortillas and I can not help but share. They turn out to be very tasty, lush, and remain soft for a long time. Thanks to spices, you can make them more savory, or vice versa, more neutral, for example, for serving for some kind of soup. In general, a find, not a recipe.

Such cakes are made on the basis of kefir and cheese. It is advisable to use kefir at room temperature. Grate the cheese with a fine grater. At the same time, I add some baking soda.

I add dry garlic to the dough, a mixture of freshly ground peppers and a little hop-suneli, sometimes I replace the garlic with paprika.

I mix everything well and add flour, take the usual white. The dough should not turn out very steep, it may stick a little to your hands.

The dough must be rolled out into a layer 1 cm thick or a little more. To make the finished cakes look more attractive, I cut out the dough using a culinary ring with a diameter of 8.5 cm.

I fry the cakes in vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.

In the process of frying, the cakes "grow" and become very fluffy.

There are such cakes, preferably hot, but also very tasty when cold. I highly recommend cooking.

Ingredients:
kefir 250 ml
cheese 200 grams
flour 250-300 grams
spice
soda 1 tsp a spoon without a slide
