Today I want to share with you a recipe for a fragrant pilaf, which you will love.
I had long since forgotten about rice and moved to bulgur. Also, I eat buckwheat, barley, peas. But my favorite bulgur.
Pilaf with bulgur get a light nutty flavor, rassypchatym- delicious and satisfying!
Let's prepare!
We need the following ingredients:
- chicken breast - 2 small fillet - 340 g,
- onion - 80 g
- small carrot - 50 g,
- bulgur - 150 g in the dry state,
- butter - 15 g
- salt, pepper, seasoning for pilaf (which must include cumin and barberry. You can use a cumin and barberry)
✅Prigotovlenie.
Finely chop the onion and three on a coarse grater carrots.
Chicken breast cut into medium-sized pieces.
Fry in a skillet without oil onions and carrots (I use a non-stick frying pans). If necessary, add a little water, so do not burn.
Once the onions will become transparent, add to the skillet chicken breast and fry until half cooked chicken.
Add the spices: salt, black pepper, cumin and barberry - is necessary.
Next add the bulgur in a saucepan and fry it with vegetables and chicken few minutes, stirring.
Pour boiling water to just cover the bulgur (see photo below), and bring a little prisalivaem under the lid until ready.
Try bulgur, if bland - ready - add the butter and mix well. In the last 5 minutes, you can open the lid and evaporate the excess moisture, if it is.
Our pilaf with bulgur is ready!
