✅ 👌 Pickled cucumbers are a frequent guest on our table in the winter season. Dozens or even hundreds of different salads and other dishes can be prepared from them.

And today I want to invite you to cook an unusual appetizer from pickled cucumbers. I'm pretty sure you haven't tried this yet! These are fried pickles in batter!

Of course, you might think about how you can fry pickled cucumbers - but it turns out you can! I recently tried this appetizer at a party and she was amazed - how delicious it is !!! The preparation seems to be unusual, but we recommend everyone to try such an appetizer at least once.🥰

📕To prepare fried pickled cucumbers you will need: 🍲

Pickled cucumbers - 3-5 pcs. (about 400 g)
Kefir (any fat content) - 100 ml
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Wheat flour - 70-100 g
Salt - a pinch
Baking powder - 0.5 tsp l.
Ground black pepper - 1-2 pinches
Provencal (Italian) herbs - 1 tsp l. (no slide)
Refined sunflower oil - how much you need for frying

👨🏻‍🍳 Let's start cooking... ⤵️⤵️⤵️

Cut the cucumbers into slices about 4-5 mm thick. We put them on a napkin and cover the second on top. Thus, we remove moisture from the surface of the cucumbers. This must be done, otherwise the batter will flake off.

Now let's prepare the batter. To do this, take any suitable bowl, pour kefir into it, drive in an egg. Add salt, pepper, herbs there.

Stir everything with a whisk.

Next, sift the flour into this mixture along with the baking powder. Mix with a whisk, breaking small flour lumps. The batter should turn out to be quite thick, viscous, enveloping.

Now we take our prepared cucumber circles and put them in the prepared batter. And mix ...

Now pour vegetable oil into a deep frying pan or stewpan - so much so that pieces of cucumbers can be immersed in it at least half, we heat it up. We spread a batch of cucumbers, removing them from the batter with tongs or a fork. First fry one side over medium heat until light brown.

Then turn over and brown the other side. Everything is as usual with any other baked goods!

We remove the finished cucumbers on paper towels to get rid of the remaining oil.

That's all, it remains to put the ready-made cucumbers on the dish. And serve with mayonnaise-garlic sauce.
