Hake baked with vegetables in the oven is prepared quickly and easily. This fish is perfect for dinner for the whole family. This is a great option for every day.

The fish is juicy, tender and aromatic. It tastes good even when cold.

Ingredients:

  • hake - 3 pcs.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise (cream, sour cream) - 2 tbsp. l.
  • water - 1 tbsp.
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare all the ingredients.
I will bake the hake fish. I like it the most, as it has no small bones. We clean the fish from entrails, fins and cut into portions.
Pepper and salt the hake from all sides.

2. Cut one large onion into half rings.
Three medium-sized carrots on a coarse grater.

3. We grease the form in which we will bake the fish with vegetable oil.
Put the prepared hake pieces into the mold.

4. Put chopped onion on top of the fish.
Pour grated carrots on top of the onion.
If desired, vegetables can be pre-fried in a pan.

5. Preparing the filling for the fish.
Put 2 tablespoons in a bowl. mayonnaise and fill with one glass of water. We mix everything.
I use homemade mayonnaise. If desired, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or cream, or simply pour a glass of water.
Pour the prepared filling over the fish and vegetables.

6. Cover the form with a lid or foil.
We put in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for 20 minutes under the lid.

7. After 20 minutes, remove the lid and bake for another 20 minutes.

Hake with vegetables turned out to be very tasty and aromatic. It is very easy and simple to prepare it. You can serve this fish with any porridge or potatoes.
