Hello! My name is Andrey Bunbich, and I am the author of this channel “Dessert Bunbich”. Today I decided to close the Dessert Bunbeach blog, but before doing this, I want to tell you what I have achieved, how it all began and why I decided to take this step.
What have you achieved
At the time of this writing, over 126,000 people have subscribed to my Zen blog. The average monthly audience hovers around 1 million unique visitors. At most, my blog was watched by more than 3 million visitors.
I have articles that have collected almost 500 thousand reads. A total of 1065 materials were published (this one is already 1066). The most popular video on my channel has collected almost 6 million views. In total, the articles have collected more than 25 million reads, and the video has more than 54 million views.
How it all began
But I didn't come to such results right away. I published my first articles in Zen more than 4 years ago, when the FIFA World Cup began in our country. I then decided that it would be cool to talk about the desserts of the countries participating in the championship.
He wrote articles, prepared illustrations and published them. The materials have collected very few readings. At the same time, it took me more than 5 hours to work through one article. At some point, I made a major mistake.
Instead of making copyrighted content, I decided to start rewriting other people's articles and recipes. But since I had no experience, perhaps writing at school, even a simple "rewrite" took me a lot of time.
I noticed that I stopped enjoying the process and abandoned the blog. Six months later, for some reason I went into Zen and found that several articles for which I took my photographs and wrote the text myself, received good readings.
Then I decided to give the blog a second chance. But first, I deleted all the rewriting from the channel and decided not to do this anymore. I set myself the goal of publishing 7 articles per week for 3 months.
The regularity bore fruit, and people began to read the blog. And when I was accepted into the support program for the authors of "Nirvana", the channel "shot" and I realized that it was worth continuing.
Why am I closing
And now, for the fourth year, Zen has become my main blogging platform. I still maintain a regularity of 7 posts per week. In 2020, I received the Zen Blogger 2020 award from Yandex, which I am very proud of. But everything always comes to an end.
In the summer of 2019, when I spoke at Zen Monday in Nizhny Novgorod, Nikita Belogolovtsev asked me, what if you run out of recipes, close your blog? Then I replied that the recipes cannot end, because if you replace strawberries with raspberries in a strawberry pie, you will get a new recipe.
So, it looks like I ran out of recipes. The joke, of course, is not over. But I decided to close the Dessert Bunbeach blog. It was a glorious time in which I achieved a lot. I met wonderful people, saw a lot of interesting things and made good money. I am happy with what I have achieved and therefore it is a pity to close this blog.
What will happen next
But this is not the end of my blogging career. This, on the contrary, is the beginning of something new. I close the Dessert Boonbeach blog and open the Boonbeach blog. The design changes for your blog will be gradual, so you can get used to it.
Before that, all the materials that I published were somehow related to desserts. After all, I am a pastry chef, and the topic of sweets is very close to me, and I can talk about it for hours. But in the near future I have a number of important events that I also want to share with you.
But this topic does not fit into the format of the blog about desserts at all. So I decided to get rid of the “Dessertny” prefix and leave only my last name in the blog title. I am not yet ready to tell you what these events are, but do not worry, most of the materials will still be devoted to desserts.
So stay with me, it will get even more interesting soon!
