The most fragrant and delicious pastries for tea, of course, are those with cinnamon. Cinnamon curd rolls are one of the favorite recipes in our family.
This is a soft curd dough and a lot of aromatic cinnamon and sugar. These pastries come out very tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Children love such buns, and adults will not refuse. Often these curd rolls with cinnamon do not even have time to cool down as they disappear from the table.

Preparing such baked goods is not at all difficult from the available products, even beginners can handle it.
If you also love fragrant cinnamon, then be sure to bake these curd rolls! It's simple and incredibly delicious.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 270 g
  • cottage cheese - 250 g
  • sugar - 200 g
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • butter - 50 g
  • ground cinnamon - 1 tbsp. l.
  • baking powder - 5 g

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the dough.
Pour 270 g flour and 5 g baking powder into a bowl. We mix everything.

2. Put 250 g of cottage cheese in the flour mixture and mix a little. You can use cottage cheese of any fat content, I have cottage cheese with a fat content of 5%.

3. Pour 50 g of melted butter here. Mix again.

4. For the filling, pour 3 tbsp. l. sugar from 200 g of sugar and pour in 1 tbsp. l. ground cinnamon. We mix everything. The filling is ready.

5. Break 1 egg into a separate bowl. We begin to beat it and gradually add the remaining sugar. Beat for about 3 minutes, until frothy.

6. Pour the beaten egg with sugar into the prepared curd-flour mixture. Mix the dough for a short time, first with a spoon, and then with your hands. You should get a soft dough that holds its shape.

7. Cover the dough with a lid and leave to rest for 15 minutes at room temperature.

8. 15 minutes passed. Put the finished dough on the table, a little floured. Roll out the dough into a rectangular layer. I got a sheet of about 50 by 40 cm in size.

9. Sprinkle the dough evenly with cooked cinnamon sugar.
On the long side, we turn everything into a tight roll.

10. Cut the roll into pieces. The width of each piece is approximately 1.5 - 2 cm.
We transfer all the rolls to a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. From this amount of dough, I got 20 rolls.

11. We put the cookies in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. We bake for about 15-20 minutes.

12. We take the finished rolls out of the oven and let them cool. We serve the cooled rolls on the table.

Curd rolls with cinnamon turned out to be very tasty and fragrant. A little crispy on top and soft on the inside. Prepare quickly and easily. They are great for homemade tea.
