One or two and you're done: a crustless pie for breakfast in 20 minutes

I remembered the movie "Stop, otherwise my mother will shoot." An old comedy with Sylvester Stallone. In my opinion, it was there that I heard the phrase that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, after lunch and dinner, of course.

And you know, I agree with this statement. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are very important. Especially when you love to eat (tasty), tender and reverent, and the temperature outside the window demands: give calories to the body, villain, do not mock him, otherwise you will freeze with this body!

In short, how do you like the idea of a pie for breakfast? Of course, someone will call it an omelet, but culinary specialists (not ours, however, foreign ones) call a lorrain pie without a crust.

Delicious stuff, by the way. And satisfying. Low carb. Just for winter, it's gorgeous - the body receives a charge of those very calories for a long time that are able to withstand the cold.

We take:

  • Several slices of bacon
  • Sweet onion (shallot or Yalta)
  • Six eggs
  • 100-120 ml of good fat milk
  • A couple of tablespoons of hard grated cheese
  • Salt-pepper to taste

Well, all kinds of greens - both for decoration and for garnish

How we cook:

We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.

Beat eggs with salt, set aside. Why do you need it? The salt affects the protein so the omelet will be less... watery.

Cut the bacon into pieces, fry in a little oil. While it squirts, finely chop the onion and send it to the bacon.

Fried?

We set aside.

Add milk to the eggs, already beaten with salt, and beat well again, gradually pouring in hard grated cheese.

Now we put a frying pan with bacon on the fire and, when it reheats, pour eggs, milk and cheese into it. Stirring, fry for three minutes, and then, when the mass has almost grabbed, put it in the oven for 8-10 minutes.

Enjoy your meal!
