Hello, dear readers of the "Cooking with Natalia Kalnina" channel! I greet my regular guests, as well as all those who came to see me for the first time!

Today I want to share with you a recipe for French fries. In my family, everyone loves French fries, since buying them is expensive, I set myself the task of learning cook at home, and without buying a deep fryer at the same time (since I think that it is not for me needed)

I cooked in different ways (frozen, soaked)

Through trial and error, I came up with the following recipe: potatoes are fried evenly even in a pan in a small amount of vegetable oil, I fry in saucepans.

Recipe:

potatoes -500g

salt -1 / 2 tsp.

COOKING METHOD:

Cut the potatoes into strips with a knife or a special device for cutting potatoes into cubes.

I add salt to the potatoes, mix and leave for 5 minutes. To remove excess moisture from it.

Now rinse the potatoes well in cold water.

I throw it back on the drushlag.

Now I boil the kettle, as the water boils, I pour it into a deep bowl and put the potatoes there, mix well and put it back on the drushlag, let the potatoes drain.

This will set the starch on the potatoes.

You can now dry the potatoes (I don't do this, but leave them in a colander for a couple of minutes, due to the fact that the potatoes are hot, the potatoes dry out and do not need to be dried additionally)

Now I pour vegetable oil into the saucepan.

I warm up and put potatoes in small portions

fry until light golden brown.

The potatoes do not decrease in size in this way, they practically do not absorb oil into themselves, the view is excellent, and most importantly, the taste of real fries is soft inside.

I recommend using the recipe.

EI also recommend cooking Potatoes in a crispy breading in the oven:

Potatoes -600g.

Salt -1 / 2 tsp

Vegetable oil -2-3 tbsp.

Breadcrumbs -3 tbsp.

Dried garlic -1 tsp

Sweet paprika -1 / 2 tsp

Black pepper - to taste

Basil - to taste

or like this in the microwave

Potatoes - 300g.

Vegetable oil - 10 ml.

Paprika - 1/3 tsp.

Salt - 1/4 tsp.

Dried dill - 1/4 tsp.

And this is how I cook without oil in the oven:

Salt - 1/2 tsp.

Black pepper - to taste

Egg white - 1 piece
