Easy and healthy squid salad: no need to wait for the holiday to cook (we just love it for dinner)


Preparing a salad is very simple. And even suitable for dinner!

The hardest part here is preparing the squid. How I do it, I have already told HERE. There are two ways how I cook squid. Moreover, the second was a discovery for me! The squid turned out to be much tastier and more tender. I cooked them for 40 minutes. What started there in the comments... But those who tried it agreed with me that the taste of squid after a long cooking is more interesting.

In general, I cook squid in any way:

For the salad, I cut the squid into strips and put them in a suitable container in which it will be convenient to mix the salad.

I add fresh cucumber to the squid. I cut it into strips too. Here - any hard cheese. You don't need a lot of cheese. You can take light (35% fat). But, of course, the cheese must be delicious!

I definitely add fresh herbs (I have dill and green onions today). But it tastes better with parsley than with dill. For some reason I just couldn't buy parsley today.

And refueling. Of course, you can simply dress the salad with mayonnaise. It will be delicious! But more often I dress this salad with Greek yogurt. I add a little more mustard, a clove of garlic and a spoonful of lemon juice. I stir it.

Salt at the very end. But here you need to take into account how salty cheese is added to the salad, otherwise you can oversalt. You can add some black pepper.

I stir it. And that's it! You can try a delicious salad with squid!


• Squids - 2-3 pcs.
