Today we will prepare a delicious lunch from the simplest products, very tasty and satisfying. Thin dough and unusual filling, like both adults and children!
Let's prepare the dough first.
Sift 500 grams of flour, add a teaspoon of salt. A dash of turmeric can be added if desired. Break 1 egg and mix.
Now pour in 220 milliliters of boiling water and knead the dough. First with a spatula, and then we will knead with our hands. It won't be so hot anymore. As a result, the dough will turn out to be very pleasant, flexible, tender and should not stick to your hands. Now that the dough has already come together, go to the board or table and knead for about five minutes.
Now I will put the dough in a bag, let it sit for about fifteen minutes, it will become softer and it will be easier to roll out.
The filling, we will have very tasty and unusual. For the filling, we need a lot of potatoes, 800 grams. Moreover, we will use the potatoes raw. Add only 300 grams of minced meat to the potatoes. You can even less, add 200 grams, it will still be very tasty. I took minced chicken, you can take beef or pork, whoever you like. Rub the potatoes on a coarse grater and squeeze out excess liquid.
You can, by the way, rub directly into a colander so that excess moisture drains off.
Finely chop two medium onions. You can add the onion directly to the filling, but it will be even tastier if the onion is fried until golden brown.
Add minced meat and aromatic golden onions to the potatoes.
I will also add some fresh parsley and chop it into smaller pieces. Salt the filling well. Black pepper or red pepper can be added. I will not add anything else, let it be only the onion and the parsley.
The dough lay down, became more pliable. For convenience, I will divide the dough in half. I will put one piece in a bag, and we will deal with the other piece. The table lasts with flour and lightly the dough itself. We roll out a thin layer.
Now let's cut out the circles. I will make great dumplings. I really like the way they look and taste. But this is at your discretion. You can also make small, familiar ones. I cut out circles with a diameter of 10 centimeters.
Immediately lay out the filling on all the circles, in a tablespoon. There will be a lot of fillings :)
Now we carefully cover each dumpling, pinch it. And slightly flatten it so that the dumpling turns out to be thin, then it will boil faster.
We put the pot of water on the fire, wait until the water boils. Add some salt to the water. I also like to add a couple of bay leaves. Throw in large dumplings one by one. At first we do not interfere with the dumplings, wait until they float up, and then cook for about 7 minutes. The fire is average.
Put on a plate, greasing with a piece of butter. Sprinkle with spices or fresh herbs, whatever you like. Serve on the table. The dumplings are soft and tasty, with a thin tender dough and aromatic delicious filling. Try to cook! I sincerely wish you bon appetit!
