Very tasty and light lean soup Hercules is liked even by the most fastidious children. Despite its lightness, this soup is great for filling. It is perfect for a lean daily menu.
Such a soup with oatmeal is prepared very simply and quickly from a minimum set of products. Also, such a soup can be cooked in meat broth, it will be even tastier.

Ingredients:

  • oat flakes Hercules - 1/2 tbsp.
  • potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
  • water - 2 l
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • carrots - 1pc.
  • vegetable oil - for frying
  • bay leaf - 1 pc.
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • fresh greens - a bunch

Step by step recipe

1. Pour half a glass of washed oatmeal with a glass of cold water for 20 minutes.

2. Cut 3-4 medium potatoes into cubes.

3. Drain the water from the oatmeal and put it in a saucepan. Put chopped potatoes here.
We fill everything with two liters of water and put it on fire.

4. When the water boils, remove the foam and cook for about 10 minutes more, and in the meantime, prepare the frying.

5. Cut the onion into cubes.
Put the chopped onion in a hot frying pan with sunflower oil.

6. While the onion is fried, three carrots on a coarse grater.

7. Add carrots to the already gilded onion.
Fry everything until carrots are soft.

8. The potatoes are already boiled, put the bay leaf, add salt and ground pepper.

9. Add cooked frying and chopped greens to the soup, I have frozen dill.
Stir the soup and remove from heat.

The soup turned out to be very tasty and light. Be sure to cook it.
