At the slightest sign of a cold, without waiting for bacteria to multiply, we muffle them with vitamin C: hot lemonade with sour berries.
Ingredients:
1. Lemon - half
2. Sour berries - a handful (any)
3. Water - 1-2 glasses
4. Honey - 1 tablespoon (as a sweetener, but you can do it without it)
Preparation
We took the berries out of the freezer (drupe, red currants, etc.), placed them in a blender container (if the berries are hard, like cherries, then first they freed them from the seeds by rinsing through a strainer).
Then we washed the lemon, cut it into pieces and, together with the zest and seeds, immersed it there (essential oils in the seeds and zest).
We added warm water closer to hot water (not every blender will "tolerate" hot water, so after cooking we will dilute our drink with boiling water). Next, add honey or other natural sweetness (honey loses its properties in hot water, therefore it plays a role only as a sweetener for sour berries and lemon).
Whisk everything together for about a minute, strain through a strainer, and get a pinkish lemonade. We dilute it with hot water to make it more effective (hot stuff stimulates the liver to work and to "purify the blood"). "Shock" dose of vitamin C and blush on the face again!
This drink is drunk in small sips before meals in order to increase the production of gastric juice and improve the absorption of nutrients from food. Good health to all of us, dear friends!
