Hello, dear readers of the "Cooking with Natalia Kalnina" channel! I greet my regular guests, as well as all those who came to see me for the first time!

Today I want to share a recipe for squid cutlets, which I cook like no one else I know. Such cutlets are juicy, tender and tasty. These cutlets will help diversify the daily menu. Any garnish will do, such as rice or mashed potatoes.

Recipe:

peeled squid -600g

egg -1pc

bread -3 slices

salt -1/2 tsp

black pepper - to taste

onion -1 pc

garlic -2 tooth.

COOKING METHOD

First, let's take care of the squid, you need to peel them. Defrost, now remove the insides, chord and film inside. I don't touch the top at this stage.
Pour water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil. Now I dip the squid in boiling water and keep it there for 5-10 seconds, until the film rolls up on top. So I start up all the squids in turn. And then I rinse it under cold water.

Cut the bread 3 slices from the crusts, the weight of the cut bread is 60 grams, pour about 100 ml with water and leave the bread to swell. Cut the onion into cubes and fry in a frying pan in a little vegetable oil.


Divide the egg into white and yolk. We put squid in a blender, squid should be dried with a paper towel so that there is no excess liquid, or you can pass it through a meat grinder with a fine grid.
Add fried onions, a couple of garlic cloves, squeeze the bread well from water and add to the minced meat, put the yolk and add half a teaspoon of salt, pepper to taste.

We punch everything again with a blender.
Put the resulting minced meat in a bowl. Beat the protein until stable peaks with a mixer and add to the minced meat again, mix the minced meat ready. If your minced meat is thin, you can add a couple of tablespoons of bread crumbs, I usually do not need it.
We form cutlets with wet hands, you can put with a spoon, shaping the cutlets or roll in breadcrumbs, everything is at your discretion

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, put cutlets and fry until golden brown on both sides.
We remove the hot ones from the heat, fry the next portion. Serve with a side dish and vegetable salad. Squid cutlets are juicy and very tasty.
