Not a single cucumber disappears from me: I show what I do with pickled cucumbers in the spring (if there are any left, of course)

The recipe appeared during the experiment (and I experiment often, you know 😊). And today I just want to share the result of my successful experiment. Soups have become more aromatic and tasty, kebabs and stews "eat and be hungry", and now I cook sauces in a new way too!

In general, my next "secret addition". Earlier, I talked about my secret supplements HERE. See what I do with pickled and pickled cucumbers in the spring (if any, of course):

Thanks in advance for your comments! They always cheer up. But before commenting, read the article, what if I’ll answer your questions here 😊

How to cook

Salted or pickled cucumbers (which remained) I cut into a thickness of about 3 mm. I spread it on a paper towel, cover it with two more sheets of towels and "dry" the cucumber circles.

Then I put the sliced cucumbers on the wire mesh and put them in the vegetable dryer. Yes, I will dry cucumbers!

In addition to cucumbers, I also send onions to the dryer. I will need it for my miracle seasoning. I set the temperature to 60 degrees. I dry until all the vegetables are dry. This usually takes about 6 hours in my dryer. Scroll through the photo:

I want to say right away that all dryers are designed for long-term drying, so there will be no "big electricity bills"! Fruit and vegetable dryers are very economical! But if you dry it in the oven, then yes, it will come out a little expensive.

This is what happens after drying (scroll through):

I put the vegetables in hermetically sealed jars. And so you can store them in the closet.

But in order to prepare my seasoning, I combine dried cucumbers with onions and grind in a blender. I will leave a link to my blender at the end of the article (by the way, the kit includes not only such a blender, there is a whole set!).

This is what the seasoning looks like. I named it "dry pickle" because it smells exactly like this soup.

I add this seasoning to soups. First of all, in the pickle! And not necessarily instead of cucumbers (it is like a flavor enhancer - the aroma is much richer! not just pickles, they are like toasted). Very interesting taste! By the way, I have already shared the recipe for beetroot with such a seasoning HERE.

I also add this seasoning to kebab marinades. It is something! Incredibly delicious! For the May holidays, I will definitely cook a barbecue with such a seasoning (I showed the recipe in the video at the beginning of the article). And the sauces are amazing! I serve them both for meat and fish. I also season salads. Tasty...

Of course, I recommend giving it a try, because it is a very interesting condiment indeed! But I don’t insist!

And in advance I want to answer the most popular question in the comments: "Why?" The answer is simple: "For taste and convenience!" It's a seasoning! Yes, you can "and so eat cucumbers", I'm not saying that it is impossible. But with such a seasoning, familiar dishes take on a new taste. Exactly the same questions were asked to me when I showed how I dry onions. Many also did not understand why until they tried adding dried onions instead of fresh ones. This is completely different! So it is with this seasoning. This is sooo delicious! Try marinating the meat, try adding to the sauce, just try it. And you will understand me)) It is these "secret additions" that help to make amazingly tasty dishes from ordinary products!

I foresee more questions about my dryer. Therefore, I immediately answer. My dryer suits me completely! I have had it for more than three years (those who watch my videos have seen it more than once). And she does not rest with me even in winter - apart from vegetables and fruits, I dry meat and fish in it, cook sausage, candied fruit and marshmallow, as well as yoghurts! There are many different nets and pallets included, so you can dry almost everything)) I recently wanted to order one for a gift, it was not available, but I was promised that at the beginning of May it will appear again in sale.

As promised, here is a link to the blender I use to grind vegetables:
