I don’t know about you, but I have known the taste of herring oil since childhood. Mom often cooked it during the cold season. This is right, there are foods that you enjoy in summer, and there is something that you especially enjoy in winter.
For many years I have not cooked herring oil, and more recently a friend talked so deliciously about how she prepares it, that I could not resist, and on the same day I bought all the necessary Ingredients. The use of eggs and the absence of boiled carrots was unusual for me in this recipe, but I tried it, and I really liked this serving option.
So, for herring oil we need:
- Herring - 100 gr.
- Butter - 100-130 gr.
- Boiled egg - 1 pc.
- Greens
- mustard - 1 teaspoon
Many people pass all the ingredients through a meat grinder, but I folded the herring (if you want to mess around, buy a whole one and cut it, if not, canned is perfect).
We put the herring, boiled egg and butter, which had previously lain in the kitchen for about 30 minutes outside the refrigerator, and mustard into the food processor.
Beat well. By the way, some people like it when the herring is in small pieces, then you can beat it in the combine for a very short time.
Add finely chopped greens to the finished mass.
Now you will need either black bread (it seems to me that the combination of black bread and butter is ideal), or buns.
Children snorted and did not touch it, but adults appreciated this product. Moreover, under a certain drink)
That's all!
Herring oil is ready!
Bon Appetit everyone!
