Lula with a secret: a new taste that can please in the barbecue season

Honestly, you've already opened the barbecue season, right? We - in time, although it is cold and wet with us.

Charcoal meat is perfect in any form. This is probably due to the scent of smoke. Or atavistic instincts inherent in us at the subconscious level. Maybe when we hold a skewer in our hands, the memory of our ancestors wakes up?

A mammoth tortured by the whole tribe, pieces of its flesh baked right in ashes, which serves as the only seasoning, the realization that you won't go to bed hungry tonight, all that? And that's why endorphins play in us, and meat just asks:

- Eat me!

However, what's the difference. The main thing is delicious, that's all.

So today - a small innovation. Lyulya with a secret.

We take:

  • 500 grams of minced lamb. It is better when the minced meat is minced and with fat, but if there is no lamb, pork goes well, and a turkey thigh, and even a chicken thigh. Here the breast does not go;
  • A couple of onions;
  • Black pepper, red hot pepper, salt, cumin to taste;
  • A bunch of cilantro;
  • Several sprigs of rosemary;
  • Hard-boiled eggs - according to the number of lula, and one raw egg;
  • Breadcrumbs.

How we cook:

Cut the onion into small cubes, chop the cilantro, add all this to the minced meat (do not forget to send salt and other spices there).

We knead the minced meat, the longer, the better, and beat it well (so that later our lula does not crack).

Now we divide the minced meat into parts, turn each part into a small cake and begin to deal with eggs.

Beat the white of the raw egg into a foam, pour the breadcrumbs in a saucer.

We clean the boiled eggs, dip them in protein, and then roll them in breadcrumbs. Now we put on the minced meat cakes and with wet hands form oval balls so that the egg becomes the filling.

We put these balls on the soaked skewers, and press the rosemary sprigs from above. For reliability, you can tie it with kitchen twine (although, if you cook over coals, and not in the oven, then this technique will be useless).

And then - either on coals, or in the oven for the grill mode. By the way, so as not to spoil the shape of the cradle, in the oven you can use a mesh tray for storing vegetables or dishes as a holder (the main thing is that it is metal).
