Ingredients:
For a can of 1 l:
- cucumbers - 500 g
- vinegar 9% - 50 ml
- sugar - 2 tsp l.
- salt - 1 tsp l.
- dill - 1 umbrella (or dill seeds - 1/2 tsp. l.)
- garlic - 1 clove
- black peppercorns - 5 pcs.
- allspice peas - 1 pc.
Step by step recipe
1. Before canning the cucumbers, they need to be washed and filled with water for about 2 hours. This is done to ensure that the cucumbers have enough moisture and they do not lose their shape during conservation.
2. We sterilize the lids. Put the lids with rubber bands in a saucepan, fill with water and put on the stove. Boil the lids for 1-2 minutes and drain the hot water.
3. We put a dill umbrella in a clean liter jar, if there are no umbrellas with dill, then you can buy dill seeds at the pharmacy or on the market. Here, in a jar, pour 5 black peppercorns, put 1 allspice pea, 1 garlic clove.
4. The cucumbers have already stood in the water for 2 hours, we cut off the ends from both sides. For pickling, it is advisable to use young small ones. Put the prepared cucumbers tightly in a jar.
5. Pour 1 tsp on top. salt with a small slide, 2 tsp. sugar, too, with a small slice.
Pour 50 ml of 9% vinegar here.
6. We fill everything with clean water.
We cover the jar with a sterilized lid.
7. Put a towel folded several times at the bottom of the pan. Put a prepared jar of cucumbers on top. Pour water into a pot with a jar. Water must be poured so that the jar is about 2/3 of its height in the water. and put it on fire.
8. After boiling water in a saucepan, reduce the heat and sterilize the jar of cucumbers for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, we take the jar out of the water and seal it with a lid.
9. Turn the closed jar upside down, cover it with a towel or blanket and leave it in this position until it cools completely.
