In the spring, many people lose their appetite. Hearty, heavy meat dishes during the cold season have time to get bored, you want something fresh, but, given the rising temperature and the baking sun, you can also cool.

There are a great many salads for such a case, but they have all been tried for a long time - hundreds of times and often cause the same sour grimace - they say, tired!

And hearty salads often require a huge amount of ingredients. The dish does not come out in a hurry, and it is expensive.

By the way, we often overlook a whole "layer" of cooking - potato salads. In which potatoes are the main ingredient. These salads are common all over the world, they can be served as a separate dish or as a side dish.

And if someone is bored with making (or eating) a simple potato salad, you can make a Danish potato salad.

In fact, it is very close to our potato salads, the only difference is the dressing.

We take:

  • 500 grams of potatoes;
  • A couple of cloves of garlic;
  • One not too spicy onion;
  • 200 grams of radishes;
  • A tablespoon of mustard;
  • A spoonful (or a little more, as you like) of light balsamic vinegar;
  • 150 grams of cream fresh (if not, you can replace it with sour cream, not too acidic, but high in fat);
  • 150 grams of mayonnaise (in general, ideally, take Miracel Whip sauce, but it is not very common with us, or rather, it is not at all common and replacing this sauce with mayonnaise only affects the final calorie content of the dish, because in fact, Miracel Whip is an alternative mayonnaise).

How we cook:

Boil the potatoes in their skins, and then cool and cut into thin slices.

Cut the onion into small cubes, chop the garlic finely and finely. It is not necessary to pass through the garlic press, now, by the way, there is a lot of talk about the fact that the crushed garlic gives a strongly pronounced bitterness, and the chopped one does not. And it seems to be true.

We also cut the radish into thin slices.

Now we mix cream fresh or sour cream with mayonnaise, add a spoonful of mustard and balsamic vinegar there, salt and pepper to taste, and pour this into our salad.

Voila! Danish potato salad is ready.
