Awesome raspberry jam for the winter - aromatic, smooth and delicious. Most importantly, there are no pits in it. This raspberry jam can be used for filling cakes or served with pancakes and toasts. It will perfectly complement any baked goods.
Due to a short boil, useful substances are preserved in the jam. At the same time, it can be stored at room temperature for up to a year.
Making raspberry jam is pretty simple. The only difficulty in cooking is to get rid of the seeds by rubbing the raspberries through a sieve.
By the way, do not rush to throw away the raspberry pits. From them you can make a fragrant and healthy fruit drink.
Prepare a jar or two of this delicious seedless raspberry jam for the winter. In winter, it will be a godsend!
Ingredients:
- raspberries - 1 kg
- sugar - 700 g
Step by step recipe
1. We take 1 kg of raspberries and grind them with an immersion blender, so it will be easier to grind them through a sieve.
2. We put a sieve on a saucepan and pour the chopped raspberry mass into it. We rub it with a spoon or a silicone spatula. Grind until only bones remain. Do not throw away the cake with seeds, what to make of it, I will show at the end. Gently lift the sieve and remove the remaining raspberry puree from the bottom.
3. Pour 700 g of sugar into the grated raspberries. We put on fire a little less than average. We mix everything. When the jam boils, remove the foam from it. After boiling, cook the jam over low heat. I cooked for 15 minutes. If you want to make a thick wait, then you need to cook it longer.
4. The jam is already cooked. We immediately pour it into sterilized jars. From this amount of ingredients, 2 half liter jars of jam were obtained.
We cover the jars with sterilized lids and roll them up. After cooling, the jam becomes thicker.
Raspberry jam turned out to be very tasty and aromatic. It is not difficult to prepare and is great for interlayers in cakes, as well as for tea with bread or a bun.
From the remaining cake with seeds, we will prepare a delicious raspberry drink.
Put all the cake in a jug. We pour 2-3 tbsp. l. Sahara. Pour about 1.5 liters of water here. Mix everything and let the drink brew for 10-15 minutes.
We pour it into glasses and enjoy a fragrant and delicious raspberry drink.
