Easy to prepare and delicious vegetable flatbread. It is prepared quickly and simply from the available products and will always work for everyone. It turns out to be juicy, fragrant and quite satisfying.
Such a cake with vegetables can be prepared for a snack, taken to work or outdoors. It tastes good both warm and cold. You can also serve it instead of bread for the first courses.
In the summer season of vegetables and herbs, be sure to prepare such a vegetable cake. It's simple, flavorful and delicious!
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 4 pcs.
- sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- fresh spinach - 100 g
- cheese - 50 g
- sesame seeds - 1 tbsp l.
Fill:
- eggs - 4 pcs.
- milk - 4 tbsp. l.
- vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l.
- baking powder for dough - 1 tsp l.
- salt - 1/2 tbsp. l.
- ground black pepper - to taste
Step by step recipe
1. First, let's prepare all the ingredients.
Chop 100 g of spinach with a knife.
Cut 1 onion into quarters into rings.
2. Cut 1 sweet pepper into small cubes.
1 carrot, three on a coarse grater.
3. 4 medium-sized potatoes, also three on a coarse grater.
4. Pour grated potatoes, spinach, prepared peppers, onions and carrots into a bowl. We mix everything.
5. Break 4 eggs into a separate bowl, pour 4 tbsp. milk, 4 tablespoons. vegetable oil, add about half a tablespoon of salt, pepper with black pepper. Mix everything with a whisk.
6. Pour 4 tbsp here. l. flour with a slide and 1 tsp. l. baking powder. Mix everything well.
7. Pour the prepared filling over the vegetables. We mix everything.
8. We spread the resulting mass on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Distribute on a baking sheet in an even layer.
9. We put the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 20 minutes.
10. While vegetables are baked, 50 g of cheese, three on a coarse grater.
11. It took 20 minutes, remove the cake from the oven. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
12. Again, we put everything in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Focus on the readiness of the dish.
We take the finished cake out of the oven and cut into portions.
The vegetable cake in the oven turned out to be very tasty and aromatic. It tastes good both hot and cold. Such a flat cake can be served as an independent snack dish, and as an addition to soup or borscht. It is prepared simply and always turns out.
