You asked - I am doing it. I must say right away that the recipe turned out to be long, but I just wrote everything down in as much detail as possible so that you don't have any questions.

A step-by-step recipe on how to cook "Tyrolean Pie" at home

  • Butter 150 g
  • Yolks 3 pcs
  • Sugar 130 g
  • Flour 200 g
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • A pinch of salt

Beat butter at room temperature with sugar and salt until fluffy. Then add the yolks and beat until smooth.

Pour in flour with baking powder and mix with a mixer. The mass should turn out to be dense, but soft.

I line the form with baking paper. I transfer the dough into a mold (I have a size of 20x30 cm). I send it to bake for 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 180 ° C.

I leave the finished base to cool on the wire rack.

Cream

  • Milk 500 g
  • Eggs 3 pcs
  • Sugar 125 g
  • Starch 50 g
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp

All ingredients, except milk, are mixed with a whisk until smooth. No need to beat, just stir.

I bring the milk to a boil and remove it from the heat. With constant stirring, pour hot milk into the egg mass in a thin stream and stir.

Pour the mass into a ladle, put on low heat and boil until thickened (about 1-2 minutes after boiling).

It is important to constantly stir the mass so that nothing burns. A flat whisk works best.

When the mass thickens, I pour it into a container, cover it with cling film in contact and put it in the refrigerator until it cools completely.

Jelly gel

  • Sugar 100 g
  • Water 100 g
  • Gelatin 5 g

I pre-soak gelatin in cold water.

I am using sheet gelatin. If yours is powder or granular, look for the proportions on the packaging.

I bring sugar with water to a boil and complete dissolution of sugar in water. I squeeze the gelatin, add it to the hot sugar syrup and stir until it dissolves.

I put it in the refrigerator until it thickens.

If the jelly gel has frozen, it should be warmed up in a water bath or in short pulses of 10-15 seconds in the microwave to a liquid state.

Strawberry preparation

  • Berries to taste

For the cake, I select the most beautiful strawberries. Mine, cut off the stalk and cut in half. Spread out on a paper towel to dry.

I mix the cream and put it on top of the biscuit. Distribute and spread the strawberries evenly. The pie with only one strawberry seemed boring to me, and I added blueberries.

Cover the berries with jelly gel. That's it, the cake is ready, and you can serve it. Let's show you how it looks in section.
