I rarely do such things, but what is called aptly. I eat directly from the can with my hands. And no potatoes! So delicious that you can gnaw your fingers.
And the whole secret lies in sterilization and good oil. Well, the tomatoes themselves with seasonings are also important.
Ingredients for two 1L cans:
1-1.5 kg dense pickled tomatoes (small)
6 cloves of garlic
2 pcs. medium onion
dill and parsley
half a pod of hot pepper
2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil - better than olive
For the marinade for 1 liter of water:
3 tbsp. l. Sahara
1 tbsp. l. coarse salt
1 hour l. black peppercorns
50 ml 9% vinegar
1 hour l. black peppercorns
4 bay leaves
2-3 pcs. allspice peas
How to cook:
1. Wash and shake the greens, chop into rather large pieces with scissors. Peel and cut the garlic into wedges.
2.. Wash and sterilize jars. It is imperative to dry the jars after sterilization on a towel, turning upside down!
3. Peel hot peppers from seeds and cut into pieces.
4. Place garlic and hot peppers on the bottom of clean, dry jars.
5. Heat the vegetable oil, cool and pour into jars - 1 tablespoon each.
6. Select tomatoes small and strong. Ideally brown, almost ripe.
7. Wash the plump tomatoes, cut them into halves, then fill the jars with them.
8. Peel the onions and cut into large half rings. Distribute the onions between the tomatoes.
9. Prepare the marinade: boil water, add salt, sugar, black pepper and sweet peas, bay leaf. Pour in vinegar. Let the marinade simmer for 2-4 minutes and immediately remove from the stove.
10. Pour jars of tomatoes with hot, but not boiling marinade, cover with boiled lids and sterilize.
You need to do this as it is more convenient and customary for you - in a water tank or in an oven.
Important! Sterilization of 1 liter cans with tomatoes traditionally lasts 12-15 minutes in a tank from the moment the water boils.
11. Immediately take out the tomato jars and screw them up, turn them over and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave to cool completely.
All blanks need to be properly cooled, for example, after wrapping, put them in the refrigerator for a day. After these procedures, the jars stand perfectly all winter in the apartment, in the kitchen table or closet.
If everything is done correctly, then you will have the most amazing tomato blank in your hands. She will definitely not wait for winter - because it is unrealistically tasty and these tomatoes are eaten in an instant. You won't even notice how they fly away.
