Berlin-style cucumbers, crispy and tasty (almost like "Uncle Vanya")

Do you want to surprise your loved ones with unusual cucumbers? To crunch the whole house and sweep the jar from the table at once? Try this recipe, it is really unique for its marinade, which makes the cucumbers come from the store.

They are very similar to Uncle Vanya's Berlin-style cucumbers. True true!

Ingredients:

5 kg of small cucumbers

Spices and seasonings for 1 liter of water:

2 tbsp. l. coarse salt
1 tbsp. l. Sahara
3 dill umbrellas
3 cherry leaves
5 currant leaves
1-2 horseradish leaves
1 hour l. oak bark
3 cloves of garlic
1 hour l. vinegar essence

How to cook:

1. Select the smallest, even and most beautiful green cucumbers. Not quite gherkins, but the reference point must be taken - the length and thickness are no more than a finger.

2. Cucumbers should first be soaked for 2-3 hours in cold water.

Not more! Then wash each cucumber with your hands, let the water drain and put all the cucumbers to dry on a towel. You can cut off the ends - this is at your discretion and depends on the variety / size of the cucumbers themselves.

3. Wash and sterilize jars. Boil the lids.

4. Put the cucumbers very tightly in the jars vertically, which is not essential, but desirable.

5. Boil water for the marinade. Better to take bottled or from a well. It will not go straight from the tap, you will have to defend it for a couple of hours.

6. Pour salt and sugar into boiling water, add washed spicy leaves and dill umbrellas. Put the dishes with the marinade on low heat, but do not bring to a boil, but simply darken.

7. Pour the pickles with brine through a strainer so that the spices and leaves do not get into the jar.

8. Cover the jars with lids and leave for 15 minutes. Then drain the marinade, drain into a saucepan and bring to a boil. At this time, jars of cucumbers must be closed with lids and wrapped from cooling. For example, in a towel and a blanket on top.

9. In each 3-liter jar, throw 3 cloves of garlic, add oak bark and pour vinegar essence. In jars of smaller volume, respectively, the least of the above.

10. As soon as the marinade boils again, it must again be carefully and through a strainer pour into jars in cucumbers. Quickly tighten the jars with hot boiled lids, turn upside down and cover with a blanket.

11. Leave in under a blanket for at least 12-18 hours. After cooling, turn jars of cucumbers over and store in a cool dark place.

Try to prepare cucumbers according to this recipe and you will definitely succeed.
