You can take young potatoes - it will be just delicious! Well, in general, any will do. We serve such potatoes as a side dish - for meat, fish, but just with a vegetable salad it will be very tasty! This I tell you for sure.
Let's start cooking!
Ingredients:
Potato

Butter
Greens
Garlic
Lemon juice
Pepper
Olive oil
Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into several pieces (in slices or circles - whatever you want) and cook in salted water until half cooked. The middle must remain firm.
Now we take a baking dish, grease with butter. Put a whole head of garlic in the middle of the mold. We do not peel the garlic, leave it right in the husk, cut off only the top to slightly open the cloves.
Salt to taste, pepper, you can additionally put pieces of butter between the potatoes. Stir so that the oil and salt and pepper are evenly distributed, and put in the oven.
Cook at a temperature of 190-200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Then we take out the garlic, and put the potatoes in the oven again and bake for a few more minutes until they have a delicious crust.
Now squeeze the cloves out of the baked garlic - prepare a delicious sauce with them. Add greens to the baked garlic, olive oil (you can replace it with ordinary sunflower oil), a little lemon juice, salt, pepper - I put everything on the eye and grind it with a blender. I just taste and make the sauce the way I like it. From the greens I have Dill, parsley, green onions - what greens I have, I put them.
If the sauce is thick, you can add a little water. You can also add one fresh garlic clove.
The potatoes are ready, we take them out of the oven and immediately serve with garlic sauce. It can be served separately, or you can pour it over potatoes. Very tasty!
By the way, this sauce is great not only for potatoes. It goes very well with meat, barbecue, fish. It can even be used with toast, bruschetta and sandwiches. Well, as a salad dressing, of course.
