Today I want to share with you a recipe for a dish of Caucasian - libzha (libzhe and many other variations of the names I've heard).
In fact, the name is translated as a "dish." Prepare this dish of chicken, lamb, beef in cream sauce with flour, exposing foods to extinguish the fire.
I want to offer to cook libzhu with chicken breast. Believe me - it's delicious, hearty and actually contains not so many calories.
Let's cook. We will need 6-7 servings:
- 2 chicken breasts (in my bones - 1.3 kg)
- 180 g of onion - 2 medium onions,
- butter 50 g,
- 30 g garlic - 4-5 cloves,
- 40 g of whole grain wheat flour - 2 tbsp without slides,
- salt and black pepper to taste.
- In addition, when boiled broth, we need the carrot and onion, allspice 4-5 pieces, a pair of sheets lavrushki who do not go to the final dish.
Let's start cooking.
The first step is set cooking chicken breast 3-3.5 liters of water, adding to the broth carrots, onions, allspice, lavrushku salt.
We still need the broth, do not forget to remove the foam, cook over medium heat, without giving a rolling boil.
Parallel chopped onion into quarters (half-rings and even in half - as it is called 🤣?) And garlic finely chop.
Then fry the onions in a nonstick frying pan, do not burn to add a little water. If you do not trust your pan - Drip olive oil. (In the original, fried onions on a good number of such butter, but we will not put the butter burning at high temperatures).
Sauté onion until almost cooked - and it was then only add to the pan the butter and stir. Then add half the chopped garlic.
Mix and give a little garlic to give its flavor and slowly add flour and stir to avoid lumps.
Enter all the flour and mix well - set aside a saucepan with the onions and turn to chicken breast. She's just been cooked.
Chicken breasts get and parse into small pieces - the size of the one you want to see at the plate.
Add the chicken in a saucepan with a bow and fill chicken broth, wherein the cooked chicken, stirring well. I added 2.5 liters of broth.
It all depends on the consistency that you want to get in the end. Someone who likes to thinner, and some vice versa.
Adding broth ship remaining garlic in a saucepan, bring to the boil and all give Cook simmered for another 10-15 minutes.
When serving sprinkle with your favorite greens.
