Very tasty and unusual curd casserole with cherries. The most delicate curd cream in combination with a chocolate base and sourness of ripe cherries will not leave anyone indifferent. In my opinion, this is the most delicious cottage cheese casserole. In my family they love her very much and therefore I cook a large portion at once. For convenience, I will also save the amount of ingredients for the smaller diameter mold.
Preparing this curd casserole with cherries is not at all difficult. You can cook it at any time of the year. It is perfect for breakfast or a snack with tea.

Ingredients (for form d = 26 cm, h = 8 cm):

Curd filling:

  • cottage cheese - 1 kg
  • sugar - 300 g
  • eggs - 6 pcs.
  • butter - 100 g
  • semolina - 3 tbsp. l.
  • vanilla sugar - 10 g

Sand crumb:

  • flour - 380 g
  • butter - 230 g
  • sugar - 150 g
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp. l.
  • soda - 1 tsp l.
  • vinegar 9% - 1 tsp l.
  • frozen cherries - 500 g
  • ground cinnamon - 1 tsp l.

Ingredients (for form d = 20 cm, h = 6 cm):

Curd filling:

  • cottage cheese - 0.5 kg
  • sugar - 150 g
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • butter - 50 g
  • semolina - 1 tbsp. l.
  • vanilla sugar - 10 g

Sand crumb:

  • flour - 250 g
  • butter - 150 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp. l.
  • soda - 0.5 tsp l.
  • vinegar 9% - 1 tsp l.
  • frozen cherries - 300 g
  • ground cinnamon - 1 tsp l.

Step by step recipe

1. First, let's prepare the curd base.
Put 1 kg of cottage cheese in a bowl, 3 tbsp. semolina, add 300 g of sugar, 10 g of vanilla sugar and add 100 g of soft butter. Whisk everything with an immersion blender until smooth.

2. If your cottage cheese, like mine, is very dry, then add 1 egg to it to make it easier to puree the curd mass.

3. Break the remaining 5 eggs into a separate bowl. Beat them until light foam.

4. Add beaten eggs to the curd mass. Mix everything well with a mixer until smooth.

5. The curd filling is ready, now we will prepare the sand crumbs.
Pour 380 g flour, 150 g sugar, 2 tbsp into a bowl. cocoa.
1 tsp soda we extinguish 1 tsp. l. vinegar and add to the dry mixture. We mix everything.

6. Add 230 g of cold diced butter to this. We grind everything with our hands into crumbs.

7. Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour.
The diameter of my mold is 26 cm and the height is 8 cm.

8. Pour half of the prepared sand crumbs onto the bottom of the mold.

9. We put canned or freshly frozen cherries on a sieve and let the liquid drain.
Add 1 tsp to the cherry. l. cinnamon and stir.

10. Put the prepared cherries on sand crumbs.
Put the curd mass on top and gently level it.

11. Pour the remaining sand crumbs onto the curd mass.
Align the top layer.

12. We put everything in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We take the curd casserole out of the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.
The curd casserole with cherries turned out to be very tasty and aromatic. Delicate curd base goes well with sour cherry and chocolate dough.
This amount of ingredients makes a large curd casserole.
