If you want to pamper your family with a simple and delicious dessert, then the option with chocolate sausage is one of the best. Such a dessert is prepared simply, quickly and without an oven. The confectionery sausage according to this recipe turns out to be very tasty. The chocolate base is in perfect harmony with the coconut filling and the taste is very reminiscent of a Bounty bar.
This bounty chocolate sausage is perfect for the daily menu. But it can also be served on a festive table. The contrasting cut and delicate chocolate-coconut taste will definitely please the guests.

Ingredients:

  • shortbread cookies - 200 g
  • butter - 80 g
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp. l.
  • sugar - 1/2 tbsp.
  • water - 1/2 tbsp. (100 ml)
  • coconut flakes - 80 g
  • icing sugar - 80 g

Step by step recipe

1. First you need to grind shortbread cookies. I'll use the chopper. You can also do this with a rolling pin by placing the cookies in a tight bag.

2. Pour the sand crumbs into a bowl and add cocoa here. We mix everything.

3. Now let's make the sugar syrup.
In a small saucepan, mix half a glass of water and half a glass of sugar. Let the syrup simmer for 1-2 minutes.

4. Immediately pour the hot syrup into the dry mixture. We mix everything until a plastic homogeneous mass is obtained.

5. To prepare the coconut filling, mix the softened butter with powdered sugar.

6. Add coconut flakes to this and mix everything well.

7. Put a piece of cling film on the table and spread the chocolate mass on it. First, we distribute it with our hands, and then roll it out with a rolling pin into a rectangular layer.

8. Spread the coconut filling evenly on the chocolate layer. Likewise, align it with a rolling pin.

9. Roll the rolled chocolate-coconut mass tightly into a roll with the help of a film. We wrap the resulting roll in the same plastic wrap and send it to cool in the refrigerator for several hours.

The roll turned out to be very tasty. It successfully combines delicate chocolate mass and airy coconut layer. It tastes a lot like a Bounty chocolate bar.
