Everyone will love this quick coleslaw with corn! It is great for everyday use. This salad goes well with absolutely any meat dishes. And you can also serve it with a barbecue - you definitely won't be mistaken!
Such a cabbage salad with corn is prepared very quickly, literally in 10-15 minutes. By the way, you can cook it all year round, since all the ingredients are inexpensive and always available. In winter, it is better to replace tough white cabbage with Peking cabbage. The salad is tasty, light and very aromatic due to the dressing.
Be sure to make such a simple cabbage salad without mayonnaise and diversify your menu!
Ingredients:
- cabbage - 1/2 head of cabbage
- canned corn - 1 can
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- dill - 1 bunch
Refueling:
- vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l.
- lemon juice (apple cider vinegar) - 2 tbsp. l.
- mustard - 1 tsp l.
- salt - 1/2 tsp l.
Step by step recipe
1. Take half a medium sized cabbage and chop finely with a knife. Put the chopped cabbage into a bowl. Salt it a little and knead it with your hands.
2. Cut one onion into quarters.
Three fresh carrots on a coarse grater.
3. Chop a bunch of dill with a knife.
Add grated carrots, dill, chopped onions and 1 can of canned corn to a bowl of cabbage.
4. Cooking salad dressing.
Pour 4 tablespoons into a bowl. vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. lemon juice, lemon juice can be substituted with vinegar. Add about half a teaspoon of salt and 1 tsp. l. mustard. Mix everything until smooth.
5. Pour the prepared dressing onto the onion so that it marinates a little.
Stir the salad.
The salad is ready, you can serve it on the table.
