What to cook from the remaining lump of minced meat for the whole family, and so that it will last for a couple of days and at the same time not stand at the stove for half a day? I have a recipe for meatballs in the oven for such an occasion. They do not need to be fried, but they remain juicy even the next day; both adults and children eat them with pleasure. Another nice bonus: these meatballs will be useful for those who keep fit and try to eat only healthy food.

To prepare such meatballs, you can use any meat, I have a mixture of pork and chicken. In order to get a lot of meatballs and they are juicy, I add vegetables. Namely onions, garlic, zucchini and carrots. You can replace the zucchini with celery, but then its amount needs to be reduced, and the amount of carrots should be increased.

I scroll the onion and garlic through a meat grinder together in minced meat, rub the zucchini with a fine grater and squeeze out excess moisture. I also grate carrots.

There should be the same amount of vegetables VISUALLY, as well as minced meat. in my opinion this is the ideal proportion. I also add one egg, salt, spices to the minced meat and mix well until smooth.

Then it remains only to form the meatballs and put on a greased baking sheet.

I send them to a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 30 minutes, they should begin to gilded. The main thing is not to overexpose.

After the meatballs are ready, I immediately transfer them from the baking sheet to a small container and cover with a lid.

You can serve these meatballs with mashed potatoes and with pasta and rice.

In addition, I freeze such meatballs in a bag. It is very convenient when there is absolutely no time to cook, quickly boil pasta and get a package of such wonderful meatballs.
