Remember the snacks from our Soviet childhood? Still, it seemed either incredibly tasty or does it now seem so to us? Or there were dishes that we all just hated fiercely. Like cold jelly or semolina porridge with lumps.
But the airy curd casserole is rarely remembered with fondness. Well, if it was poorly cooked in your school or kindergarten, then try to cook the casserole yourself according to this recipe, give it a second chance, and you will 100% love this curd miracle!
Ingredients:
0.5 kg of cottage cheese (better than fat)
100 g semolina
100 g Sahara
50 gr. butter
2 eggs
50 ml milk
a pinch of salt
How to cook:
1. Put two packs of cottage cheese in a bowl. Add salt, sugar and eggs. Grind everything into a relatively homogeneous mass.
2. Add flour and milk. Stir gently until the lumps disappear.
3. Now it's the turn of the semolina.
4. After mixing, leave the dough on the casserole on the table for 40 minutes to allow the semolina to swell.
5. Add soft butter, stir. Not melted!
6. Grease a baking dish with butter, sprinkle with ground breadcrumbs or the same semolina.
7. Put the curd mass into a mold, smooth with a spatula dipped in water.
8. Bake the casserole in a hot oven at 180-200 degrees until golden brown.
Serve with sour cream, condensed milk, jam or jelly. But hot, of course.
This casserole always works for everyone. She is really tasty and tender! Just like in childhood.
Bon Appetit!
