✨ First, this appetizer surprises with its unusual look, and only then it conquers with its excellent taste.

✨ There is not a lot of fat in the recipe, because the zucchini is cooked in the oven, and butter is only needed to make the sauce.

✨ It turns out juicy and very, very tasty.

📕Ingredients for cooking: 🥙

Young zucchini - 1-2 pcs.
Minced meat - 500 g
Salt, black pepper
Garlic - 2 cloves
Hmeli-suneli
For the sauce:
Onion - 1 head
Butter - 40 g
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Tomato paste - 2-3 tbsp l.
Salt, Provencal herbs, sugar - to taste

For the filling, mix the minced meat with the garlic passed through a press, add salt and spices to taste.

Mix the filling well and beat it against the bottom of the bowl to achieve a viscous consistency. As you noticed, you don't need to add the egg, it will make the filling drier and tough.

My young zucchini, we cut off their ends. We cut vegetables into longitudinal strips. Their thickness should allow you to roll them into a roll. Therefore, it is best to cut them with a vegetable peeler (housekeeper). If there is no such device, use a knife, but cut as thin as possible.

Divide the whole minced meat into small portions, their number should be a multiple of 5 - it is so many rolls that it is convenient to put on 1 skewer. Roll each portion into a ball and wrap in a strip of courgette.

Now we string 5 rolls on a wooden skewer and put the resulting "kebabs" in any suitable heat-resistant form.

Melt a small piece of butter in a frying pan and send finely chopped onion and garlic there. Fry until translucent.

Dilute tomato paste in a glass of hot water and pour into a frying pan, add salt, a little sugar and Provencal herbs. Stir and simmer for several minutes over low heat. Instead of tomato paste, you can use thick fruit drink or mashed tomato pulp.

Pour the prepared sauce onto the zucchini and put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking, you can sprinkle with grated cheese.

We take the zucchini out of the oven and serve immediately, pouring over the sauce.

You can change such a fragrant dish to your liking: change the filling and sauce, add cheese and other vegetables. Delicious, juicy and very simple.
