Of course, I won't be able to tell anything new here. Everything has been known for a long time. I just collected in one article a few tips that I usually use myself. If you do the same, write about it in the comments.
We love pasta. This is one of my youngest son's favorite foods. Therefore, I have to cook them often. And I know a lot about pasta))
HOW TO BREW:
Bring the water to a boil! You need the water to boil hard! It is advisable to salt the water immediately (I always do this).
I put the pasta in the center of the pan. The water should boil very intensely! At the same time, I set the maximum fire. As soon as I sent the pasta into a pot of boiling water, I stir it so that it does not stick to the bottom.
I never cover the pot with a lid!
The cooking time depends on the type of pasta. I always adhere to the time indicated on the package. But I turn off the fire a minute before it's ready. And after a minute I drain the pasta. I immediately rinse them with clean water and fill them with melted butter.
We love durum wheat pasta, and we usually can't "digest" them.
TO LET THE PASTA COLLECT IN THE WATER:
You need to add a couple of tablespoons of any vegetable oil to the water (odorless, of course, is better). I use this method most often. But there is another way!
You can add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice or a spoonful of regular vinegar to the water. The acid "holds" the starch in the pasta and they certainly will not stick together and boil over quickly. Checked))
HOW TO BOOK SPAGHETTI:
I also bring the water to a boil! I dip the spaghetti into the center of the pot. And then I gently rotate the spaghetti so that they are completely submerged in the water. Pressing lightly will help the spaghetti sink into the water faster.
I cook in the same way, stirring without covering the pan with a lid! And yes, you can add oil so as not to stick together))
HOW TO COOK IN A PAN:
I fry the onions and carrots in oil. I take butter + vegetable oil. There are also a couple of garlic cloves. I spread the raw pasta to the fried vegetables, stir and fill it with boiling water so that the water just slightly covers the pasta. Cover with a lid and cook for 5-6 minutes over low heat. Stir while cooking. Everything! I turn off the fire, leave it WITHOUT a lid for another 3 minutes. And you can try!
