It doesn't matter what the weather is outside the window or the time of year, holidays happen in every home on a regular basis. And all the hostesses before the celebration begin to carefully think over the menu in order to prepare a lot of delicious and unusual. Whatever they come up with, but salads always come first. Tired of "Olivier" and "Fur coat"?
Here's a real find, not a salad!
Ingredients:
- 0.5 kg of boiled beef
- 2 cans of canned red beans in their own juice
- 2 onions
- 4 tomatoes
- 3 pickled cucumbers
- jar of pitted olives
- 300 gr. mayonnaise
- 4 things. boiled potatoes
- salt
- pepper
How to cook:
1. In the original recipe for the salad, you need a very good mayonnaise and it was recommended to use homemade mayonnaise. If you know how, then of course it is better to make your own sauce.
You can also take store-bought mayonnaise, such as Provencal or olive, but its taste will not be so rich.
2. The salad is layered and it is better if it is laid out in a transparent salad bowl, or in a detachable baking dish.
3. Next, boil and cool the potatoes with beef. This must be done separately.
4. Cut the meat into beautiful thin strips. This is the first layer of the lettuce, so it can be laid out and covered with mayonnaise right away. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Chop the peeled onions and distribute over the meat. Mayonnaise is not needed on top.
5. Drain the canned beans. It will become the third layer. On the onion. Here the beans already need to be smeared with mayonnaise.
6. Grind the pickled cucumbers and into a mold over the beans.
7. Put potatoes on cucumbers. According to the recipe, all ingredients should be cut into cubes. That means potatoes too.
A layer of mayonnaise on the potatoes is required. Pepper and salt again to taste.
8. The finishing touches are the tomatoes. Also in cubes and a sixth layer on potatoes. But you need to lay out beautifully so that you get a heart in the center empty.
9. Cut the pitted olives in half lengthwise and place in the center of the salad, in the shape of a heart.
10. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Salad ready!
