Sometimes in stores there are even very pleasant prices for pink salmon or chum salmon. You can, of course, salt it. But it is better to cook such a fish hot: fry, stew or bake. Since it is rather dry for salting.
Not everyone can afford salmon and trout to feed their families with such a hot dish. But it is good when salted. But pink salmon is quite affordable in every sense.
The recipe below is very simple, filling, although not budgetary due to the cream and cheese. However, it is perfect for a festive hot. So, let's get ready!
Ingredients:
- fillet of red fish (pink salmon, chum salmon, coho salmon)
- 200 ml cream
- 50 gr. butter
- salt
- pepper
- seasonings for fish in a mixture (paprika, lemon pepper or zest, dill, cumin)
- 50 gr. cheese (can be hard or mozzarella, melted with good melting quality)
How to cook:
1. Prepare the fish. Cut into portions, whichever is more convenient. It is better to remove the skin. Also remove all bones.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Since the dish will bake further, it is better to use the baking dish right away. For example, a frying pan with a removable handle or special shapes.
3. Put the fish in hot oil and fry on one side until crisp, about 3 minutes.
4. For the sauce, you need about a cup or glass of cream. Desirable fatty and freshest.
5. Pour cream into a bowl with fish, reduce heat and cover with a lid. Leave to simmer for 1-2 minutes.
6. Season the dish with salt, pepper and fish spices on top. Ideally, it should contain lemon or zest.
7. Grate the cheese. Sprinkle them on the voids between the pieces of fish. You can sprinkle the fish itself, but we need the sauce, not the crust.
8. Remove the handle from the pan (if cooking in it and it is removable) and place the dishes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
A simple form is simply rearranged in the oven and that's it.
The fish will be saturated with cream, the sauce will thicken from the cheese and will turn out to be divine.
Serve directly in the form or in the same dish that was prepared. Boiled rice or vegetable salad is perfect for a side dish.
