What could be better than a delicious homemade compote? And if it's also useful, it's great. Do you agree?
All mothers and grandmothers prepare this wonderful drink for their loved ones. Let's remember a little and make it a little bit tastier and a little more enjoyable.
Ingredients:
1 cup compote mixture (apples, pears, apricots, raisins, prunes)
2 l of water
half lemon
3-5 tbsp. l. Sahara
pinch of cinnamon
dry mint to taste and desire
How to cook:
1. Rinse the compote mixture. Even if it seems clean, you still need to rinse. There are always specks of dust on the fruit. You can simply fill it with warm water for five minutes and then drain it.
2. Boil 2 liters of water for compote.
3. Put the compote mixture in boiling water and bring to a boil.
4. Remove the zest from the lemon with a knife, in one long strip. How to peel an apple.
5. Dip the zest in the compote, add cinnamon, sugar and mint as desired. Turn off the stove. The whole cooking of a useful compote should take no more than 10-15 minutes after boiling water.
6. Squeeze the juice out of a piece of lemon, cover the dish with the compote with a lid and leave for another 10 minutes.
Ready-made compote can be drunk both hot and cold. It perfectly warms and soothes in the first version. But in the second, this drink cools and refreshes.
