A very simple recipe for a delicious dessert for tea. I take the simplest products. It turns out a very tasty and aromatic cake. You don't even need to know how to cook.

HOW TO COOK:

Peel the pumpkin and rub it on a fine grater. Not on a meat grinder, not on a coarse grater, but on a fine one. This is important here.

I add kefir to the grated pumpkin. Kefir should not be from the refrigerator. Room temperature. The result is even better if the kefir has previously stood on the table for a couple of hours. I also add sugar, semolina and baking powder to this. The amount of sugar can be reduced. But we have a sweet tooth, so I add as much as in the recipe. You can add a pinch of salt to make the taste even more interesting.

Be sure to add lemon zest to the dough. The aroma and taste are amazing! And then the taste of the pumpkin is not felt at all. Therefore, such a pie is eaten with pleasure even by those who do not like pumpkin. I checked it several times))

I mix all the ingredients and put them in a greased form. I spread the dough with a spoon. But you don't need to press! I usually take the form 24-26 cm in diameter.

I preheated the oven to 180 degrees. I put a form with dough in it and bake for 45-50 minutes. I check the readiness with a wooden stick. It may take a little more or a little less time, depending on the oven!

RECIPE:

• Pumpkin - 300 g (weight of already grated pumpkin)
• Lemon - 1 pc.
• Kefir - 250 ml
• Sugar - 100 g (in dough) + 150 g (in syrup)
• Semolina - 270 g
• Baking powder - 2 tsp.
• Water - 120 ml

It remains to prepare the syrup. I send sugar and water to the pan. Then I add lemon juice, bring to a boil.

I take the finished cake out of the oven and pour it with syrup. I leave it in the form to cool down.
