β π In these delicious cutlets, meat is not the main ingredient. But, despite this, the dish turns out to be appetizing and nutritious.
β¨ You can cook them with another side dish, but we really like the potatoes. I advise you to try it too! π₯°
πTo cook cutlets you will need: π₯
Buckwheat - 200 g
Minced meat (any) - 150 g
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Garlic - 1-2 fresh cloves or 1 tsp l. dry
Wheat flour - 2 tbsp. l. + for breading cutlets
Salt - 1 tsp l.
Spices and herbs to taste
Odorless vegetable oil - for frying
Potatoes - 4-5 tubers
Tomato sauce or pasta - 2-3 tbsp l.
π¨π»βπ³ Let's start cooking... ‡οΈβ€΅οΈβ€΅οΈ
We measure the required amount of buckwheat and grind it in a blender. Of course, the cereals must first be washed and dried. The consistency after grinding should be more like flour, but larger particles are allowed.
We boil a kettle and fill the ground buckwheat with water. All you need is 350 ml. Stir and cover the bowl. Leave the cereal to swell for 7-10 minutes.
After this time, all the water will be absorbed, and buckwheat will become absolutely soft. Remove the lid from the bowl and add the minced meat. I had a mixed - pork and beef, but you can take any other kind. The main thing is that the meat is not too dry.
Next, drive in an egg, add salt, garlic and your favorite spices (I took thyme and dill). Also add a couple of tablespoons of flour.
Mix everything thoroughly. As a result, you should get a viscous buckwheat minced meat.
Pour some flour into a flat plate. We form elongated or rounded cutlets (as you like) from minced meat and roll them on all sides in flour.
Pour some oil into the pan, heat it well. We spread the cutlets and brown them in all directions over high heat so that a crust is taken.
And that's not all, read to the end βββ πππ
In the meantime, we clean and cut the potatoes into thin slices.
As soon as all the cutlets are fried, pour a new portion of oil into the pan, heat and spread the prepared potatoes.
Salt it to taste and evenly apply tomato sauce (I had Georgian, with herbs), or tomato paste.
Put the fried cutlets on top and add a glass (200 ml) of boiling water. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
The cutlets are juicy and aromatic, and the potato side dish is nourishing and soft. A tasty and economical meal for the whole family!
